Click on an army with the prepare active, now move the mouse over a unit so that the detail tooltip appears. As long as this is displayed, you can increase the unit's movement (the effect disappears at the end of your turn!), increase the experience (permanently) or massively increase combat values (holds for current round or even several rounds until they are reset by the game). Depending on whether it is a normal unit or a hero assigned to the army, you have to use the corresponding cheats!

ENDLESS Legend.
